Mount&Blade: Warband is an action and strategy nonlinear RPG that places you in medieval times as an adventurer. It has both single-player and multi-player modes, with up to 64 players being able to take part in the same battle.

The game is interesting from the start, as you can choose your past, your skills and your appearance. First, you decide in which kind of family you were born - whether you have noble blood or not. You then keep making choices up to the the final one that could explain why you are now an adventurer. Each choice you make sends you on a specific path, and step by step you enter the atmosphere of the game. The number of options for changing your appearance is surprising: eye depth, eye shape, distance between the eyes and so on for each face feature. Once you actually start the game, you will be impressed with its graphics and the way they manage to take you back in time.

If you like stories and you are fascinated by medieval age, then you will very likely find the game highly entertaining. You will begin to enjoy the game ever more as you start mastering your skills, engaging in battle, trying dozens of weapons and testing the multiplayer options. During the battle, you can either fight on foot or mounted. When facing enemy parties, you can choose to enter combat, but also try to avoid the encounter. Being nonlinear, the game can always bring surprises, which is great, moreover since you are there to be an adventurer.

Mount&Blade: Warband is a game for story, action and strategy fans, for those fascinated with medieval times and the life of an adventurer.
